Ducted Heat Pump Opportunity for Manufactured Homes
August 19, 2024
Efficiency Maine has recently opened registration for their ducted heat pump program which helps homeowners’ transition away from oil-based heating fuels to heat pumps. Testimonials from other manufactured homeowners report that they have saved hundreds of dollars a year.
Efficiency Maine subsidizes 80% of the cost of the whole home system and provides a monthly payment plan for the balance along with a full warranty for 5 years!
The Energy Solutions group within Waldo County Climate Action Coalition (WCCAC) strongly supports the reduction in fossil fuel usage and encourages singlewide mobile homeowners to consider this opportunity. Eligibility requirements include:
If an applicant is currently receiving benefits through Maine Housing Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) they can transition their assistance from their current fuel provider to their electric service once the installation is complete.
Additional information on the Ducted Heat Pump Rebates for Manufactured Homes can be found on the Efficiency Maine website.
