Special events like the Sustainable Communities Day are featured on our events calendar, as well as events from our members and other local events.

If you have a local climate-related event to share with the community, please email us to suggest it.

Why Join as a Member Organization?

hat does the Waldo County Climate Action Coalition have to offer your organization?

• ​A website for your organization to: publicize your events if you don’t have a website or want a larger audience; invite public comments or suggestions on your programs; coordinate your events with other WCCAC members’ events that might overlap; find resources for researching and discussing climate-change issues.
• Monthly meetings for your organization to share and discuss information and ideas with other members of WCCAC in person.
• Support for collaborative grant applications, via research, review, backing, other assistance.
• Collaborative action projects according to your organization’s interests and needs, planned by our action groups working in these broad climate-change focus areas
